Join the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida for the free presentation.

This presentation will begin with a brief look at high conflict personalities, including what not to do and what to do in working with them productively in the collaborative process.

Bill will address a simple de-escalation method (EAR statements) and how a structured 3-step process of Making Proposals can focus the parties on problem-solving and away from emotional reactivity. The New Ways for Families coaching method will be explained, including teaching the “4 Big Skills for Life” (managed emotions, flexible thinking, moderate behavior, and checking themselves) before big decisions are made.

We will close with some brief outcome information about the use of the New Ways for Families method around the country.
