Join us on November 15th for an insightful FACP Grand Rounds presentation, The Value of Business Valuations. This session will cover the essentials of business valuation in the Collaborative Process, including what constitutes a valuation and what is typically excluded, such as cash and notes receivable. Attendees will gain an understanding of valuation methods, commonly based on earnings or EBITDA multiples, and learn how to evaluate appraisal benefits, potential valuation ranges, and business multiples.
We’ll explore how to educate clients on the possible financial impact of valuation ranges, and guide them in understanding how valuation outcomes could affect their personal finances. The session will also address options for clients to accept a value based on personal impact versus an official appraisal or forced sale, taking into account income tax implications and costs associated with a sale.
